ESG for Economic Competitiveness, in collaboration with the Georgetown McDonough School of Business, hosted its inaugural ESG Fall Summit for ESG experts, students, professionals, and officials on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. This first-of-its-kind forum included high-profile private sector, government, and academic experts with decision-making nexuses around ESG and the voices of MBA students representing the next generation of ESG leaders. This event was headlined by Federal Communications Commission Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel and U.S. Department of Commerce Deputy Secretary Don Graves.
We were also honored to host ESG experts JPMorgan Chase & Co. Katherine Hunter, S&P Global Esther Whieldon and Structured Finance Association Elen Callahan for their view on ESG in the capital market.
Roundtable breakfast on the campus of Georgetown University featured remarks from Patricia Grant, Senior Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, and an overview of the Biden administration’s multi-agency approach to ESG from Paul Thanos, Director for Finance and Insurance Industries at the International Trade Administration.
